Heritage Building Hardscape
In July of 2023, the Heritage Building Hardscape project was completed. A new and fresh flower bed was installed to add some colour to one of the most unique buildings in Mount Forest.

Constructed in 1912, the distinctive front entrances were a social centre of the community where people gathered daily to discuss the news. This building has served many purposes over the years, from a post office, to public health offices, and even the town jail... Even though the walls can't speak to share the history within them, many volunteers catalog and digitize artifacts and photographs so they can be enjoyed for years to come.

A huge thanks to Robertson's Landscaping for helping our vision come to life, to the Mount Forest Horticultural Society for maintaining the flower beds, and to the Museum and Archives for their dedication to preservation.
